Sylvie is originally from the Czech Republic but has called the Elk Valley home since 2013. She completed her massage therapy training at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy in 2020 and is now a B.C. Registered Massage Therapist.
Her fascination with the intricate workings of the human body and her interest in helping others to feel their best began at an early age, eventually following in her family’s footsteps to become a massage therapist. She understands that aches and pains of any type can lead to other mental and physical issues such as sleeplessness, anxiety, loss of concentration and lack of motivation.
Sylvie prides herself on her talent for deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage. Other key areas of interest include relaxation massage, shoulder and neck dysfunction, low back, and headache pain relief. However, her true passion is to utilize massage for the purpose of encouraging and promoting the body to heal through the body’s own natural and innate healing abilities.
Outside of work Sylvie interests vary from travelling and writing to exploring the mountains of Canada by snowboard, skis, bike and on foot.
Sylvie is a registered member of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC and a member of the National Health Practitioners of Canada.
